Philippe Harold offers men’s wedding bands in 14K and 18K yellow, white and rose gold, as well as platinum. Platinum is naturally white, durable and low-maintenance, although it can still develop scratches over time. 18K gold contains 75% pure gold and offers warmer tones, while 14K gold contains 58.5% gold and is more affordable. White gold offers a similar appearance to platinum but may require occasional re-plating to maintain its bright finish. Your choice of metal for your wedding band depends on colour preference, budget and everyday wear.

Wider bands require more precious metal, while platinum and diamond-set designs generally cost more. Which wedding band width should I choose?

Our classic men’s wedding bands, such as the Alexandre, are available in 4, 5, 6 and 7 mm widths. A 4 mm wedding band has a slimmer, lighter appearance, while 6–7 mm bands create a broader look and feel more substantial. Width also affects comfort, weight and price. The right choice depends on your hand proportions and personal preference, so we recommend comparing different wedding band widths before ordering.

Are your men’s wedding bands comfort fit?

Our classic men’s wedding bands feature a comfort-fit interior, gently rounded on the inside to reduce pressure against the finger and make the ring easier to put on and remove. This is particularly useful for everyday wear, especially if you are not accustomed to wearing rings. Comfort-fit profiles are available across all selected Philippe Harold wedding band designs.

What finishes and profiles do you offer?

Our men’s wedding bands are available with polished, brushed and satin finishes, as well as grooved, two-tone and milgrain-edge details. The finish determines the wedding ring’s surface appearance: polished metal reflects light, while brushed and satin surfaces have a softer, matte effect. The profile refers to the ring’s shape, such as flat or rounded, and influences both appearance and comfort.

Will a brushed or satin finish wear off over time?

With daily wear, brushed and satin finishes on a wedding band gradually develop fine marks and may become smoother or shinier in areas of frequent contact. This is normal wear rather than a manufacturing defect. Polished surfaces can generally be refreshed through professional polishing, while brushed and satin finishes may require specialist refinishing to restore their original texture. For sport or manual work, we recommend removing your ring when there is a risk of impact, abrasion or injury. Philippe Harold offers complimentary annual polishing on all items purchased from us.

Do wider wedding bands need a different ring size?

Often, yes. Wider wedding bands cover more of the finger and tend to fit more snugly than narrow rings. For bands wider than approximately 6 mm, you may need to go up half a ring size. However, the ideal fit also depends on your finger shape and the ring’s interior profile. We recommend having your finger professionally measured at our Antwerp showroom, particularly when choosing a wider band.

Yes. Philippe Harold offers complimentary engraving on wedding rings. You can personalise your men’s wedding band with initials, your wedding date or a short message, depending on the available space and design. Our team can help you choose a suitable inscription. Please note that engraved rings cannot be returned for a change of mind.

Can my wedding band match my partner’s ring?
